About Sheeva

Born and raised in Southern California, I first left my hometown as a teenager to study at Vassar College, where I completed my BA in Political Science & Hispanic Studies while writing my thesis on the veil in Iran.

A day after graduation I was on a flight to Vienna, Austria, where I received an MA in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, writing my second thesis on the economic integration of women from migrant backgrounds in Germany.

Between then and now, I’ve had educational and professional stints across a number of continents and industries. Each of these have been sparked by my fascination by the written word and a curiosity for the unexplored.

This blend of fascination and curiosity has landed me in strategy consulting and app design positions across a number of products and apps including Amazon, Instagram, Facebook, and Freeletics.

I’ve been living in Munich since 2017, where I also play and coach soccer at a local club. When I’m not doing those things, I’m working on a novel, which explores the inevitability of change and the never-ending search for balance in the various dimensions of our lives.
